David Palmer grew up in the town of Elmira in upstate New York. He
received a B.A. in painting from the University of Florida and an M.F.A.
from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is the recipient of a
MacDowell Colony Fellowship and an Artist's Grant from the Ludwig
Vogelstein Foundation. His paintings have appeared in eleven solo
exhibitions and numerous group shows, including the L.A.C.E. Annuale at Los
Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions and the Annual Midyear Exhibition at The
Butler Institute of American Art. He lives in Santa Monica, California. |
